yea i don't think its a fungal infection, it must just be the water situation. i know they are just baby leaves but im just so excited and eager to have a gull grown plant i cant help but worry! this is after all my first banana plant, let alone tropical plant.

i also have a Foxtail Palm tree on the way so that should be very exciting as well.

i just want to make sure the soil i have in my Basjoo pot is good for the plant if you guys don't mind...
its an all organic plant food comprised of earthworm castings. it is a very fluffy nutrient rich soil so i mixed sand in with it. about 75%soil 25% sand to help drain the water and provide air to the roots.

i also have it sitting about 2 feet under a plant growth light bulb that i screwed into an ordinary light fixture since the plant is indoors in my dorm room.
