Hey, I grow alfalfa also, where I make most of my money, and no mention of that either. Chestnuts are also grown for profit and pomegranates as well, if the trial works out okay. Bananas are done purely for fun and just not something others consider a serious thing, I guess. I did offer to send the author of that article a banana plant last year, though.
Here is a page I created from another site that used to have this online, showing how to open a pomegranate. Works pretty well, though doing it under a bowl of water is a little neater.
