I got this plant back in the spring from TTP, Fred and it was very healthy. It had to sit out for a while before I was able to make a new bed for it. All I really did was strip up the turf and add some composted cow manure to the bed, planted it, and mulched. It has been a steady grower ever since. I also have my Hua Moa and a Cal. Gold in this bed. The Hua Moa has been looking a bit yellow as well, though no variegated-looking spots. This is the first leaf on the IC that has shown this. I really don't think it is variegation but I wanted to see what everyone's opinion was. We'll see what the next leaf looks like. It should be unrolled by the weekend.
