Default Re: Favorite winter veggies for subtropic or coastal area?

Just getting ready to plant blue lake pole beans around the corn stalks and will clear out some spent tomato plants for some beets and radishes. In place of the potatoes that were in barrels cut in half length wise will be spinach and lettuce.

I love brocolli but get creeped out by those teeny weeny worms that lodge inside and float to the top when boiled which means that I never, ever eat my own broccolli raw.

I'm going to start a couple tomato plants to have in the house during the winter.
