Question Double Mahoi question about second+ generations

Okay, I received a tissue culture earlier this year and already around 14-16" it's got a pup popping out of the soil. Now when you say second generation and beyond that a double-quad stock and flowers can form does the second generation pup have to remain attached to the mother or can it be seperated and still have this deformity? Also being it's a tissue culture at this size, would this first pup possibly produce this double stock?

Thanks guys!
