bananabuddy

Hi and thanks for all the great info. I have just recenty started growing bananas and have a few questions. I bought this plant about two weeks ago and it is growing great. about one new leaf every 5/6 days and when it fully emerges another leaf is already half grown. The issue im having is some of the leafs are starting to get dry and yellow (see pic) Is this too much sun for the newly planted banana? Is it too little water? Are there any signs that i should look for for and keep an eye out for say too little water or too much? any help is awesome.

ps i have another that gets some shade and it is doing better then this one.

Also how can i tell if they are getting enough water any way to tell by the soil?
