Well, the one with roots is a good sign, but it needs to get into soil. Cut away the rotten bits, plant them in a nice well draining media in about 3gal containers making sure to plant them a few inches below soil level, water lightly, keeping the soil moist and not allowing it to dry out and keep them warm, I like to put mine a lightly shaded spot outside. If they are going to make it, they should poke up in a few weeks, if you don't see any new growth though after about a month, still do not disturb them as they may still be working on growing roots.
