correct. The leaves will be toast upon freezing (or for some varieties, they will start to look bad if exposed to lower temps without freezing). But you need to mulch it well to assure the corm dosen't freeze, because they corm itself cannot be 25°F, but if the air around is that much then the ground would still be warmer.
