Default Re: has anyone seen a leaf like this on you're plumeria?

The leaf in the photo was from an A'ea'e and when I walked by it the first time I instinctively knew something was different but needed a closer inspection to figure it out.

How a normal banana leaf unfurls.

The right leaf blade is rolled around itself and is tucked into the midrib while the left leaf blade wraps around the midrib which contains the rolled right leaf blade.

The leaf in the photo developed completely opposite of that.

It's left leaf blade is rolled around itself and is tucked into the midrib while the right leaf blade wraps around the midrib.

I'm guessing most people either don't know how a banana leaf unfurls or would noticed if it happened backwards.
