Default M. haekinnenii

Was around Atlanta for family stuff and happened to have a free day. Went to the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and I don't regret missing out on the world renowned aquarium for this!

I hadn't expected to see M. haekinnenii in the USA, let alone be allowed within inches of one for photographing. They had several of these blooming around the conservatory, and some other banana varieties that weren't blooming yet. Apparently their M. itinerans is an unruly menace that loves to mess with the brick path.
