Sounds similar to the concept of aquaponics, might help to look up guides on it. While I haven't used my turtle's water on bananas specifically, it works quite well for the rose bushes just outside the window.

The main caveat in my opinion would be the concentration of nutrients in the water. If it's been a while since your last water change and it reeks, might wanna dilute it to reduce the risk of fertilizer burn. Only other thing I can think of would be considering any byproducts added to the water or fed to the turts, if you're growing for edible fruits.
