Yeah, I hear ya. I grew this one in one summer from a leaf on a stick to a monstrosity HUGE TALL plant "Tree" and it outgrew its HUGMONGO pot so we planted it and did all the stuff, the black cow, the perlite, cut it diagonal at the base and added the mulch mound and I covered it with a special cover and winter came and I noticed it was GROWING BACK when I peaked at it. So, we had the cold rain, but I swear that crazy night in Feb where the temp dropped is what did it. I also have kept a super dwarf in the garage all winter, and it seems to still be happy, the first one I killed I overwatered. I'm obsessed with the idea of growing some bananas, though. It has become a mission. hahaha
