Default Re: Anyone dry store any AAA type varieties?

I personally store all mine in the garage in pots over the winter. I've done it the last couple of years and has been successful for the most part. Last year we had a warm spell in early March and I got a little overzealous and watered them a bit. It then got cooler for a couple weeks which messed some up. If you dry store them I would make sure to wait until later spring to bring then out. I have Raja Puri, Dwarf Orinoco, and Blue Java in the ground as well. For those, I do chicken wire cages around them and stack with leaves. Those all come back but have died to the ground. This year I added a Dwarf Namwa in the ground. I have also wrapped them all with plastic to see if I can save the stems so we'll see what happens this year. My garage has stayed in the 50's as well with some open windows so it looks like we have similar conditions. Hope this helps.
