Default Wintering a Blue Java

I'm in zone 7A, western NC in the US.

I bought a Blue Java locally a few years ago, but haven't seen any fruit.

Last year, I left it outside until cold nights killed the leaves, then I dug up the root to bring in the house. I put it in the greenhouse in March, but it didn't sprout until July.

Now it's about 5' tall, but we're starting to have 30 degree nights so it won't get any bigger.

Which do you recommend?

(a) Leave it in the ground where it is, but place a small greenhouse on top of it with a heater

(b) Dig it up and put it in the main greenhouse immediately

I dug up a smaller pup a few weeks ago and put it in the greenhouse, but the leaves are dying back anyway so I know that I'll just be starting over with it next year.

If you recommend that I dig up the big one, anyway, then should I plan to plant it again next year? Or should I put it in a BIG container and try to prevent the annual dig-up-and-replant?
