If you are talking Giant Mexican Whitefly, they are more interested in a host plant such as hibiscus. Usually you can just kill them by wiping them off the leaves. They mostly colonize on leaves that are fading out. If you see swirls of tiny white dots, those are eggs and should also be wiped off. That will help prevent re-infestation.
