I am certainly no expert, but my general default position is if I am in doubt, I leave it alone.

Are you in a hurry to propagate it?

If not and If it were me on that plant, short of pulling the plant, washing off some medium and inspecting the roots visually, I would probably wait until it gets a bit bigger just to ensure it has produced enough of its own roots on its developing corm to take hold.

But that is just me, and again, I am not the expert around here.
