Default Basjoo in Ground Making Multiples

Hello. Last last fall, as a first-time banana admirer, I planted two small potted Basjoos which overwintered in my garden here in the Mid-Atlantic by dying down and then springing back up in late spring. As they should.

Each parent plant now has multiples attached that are as big as the central plant, then there are tiny ones a few inches from the center of the base at the bottom.

Do I just watch and see what happens? Apparently, the banana plants know what they are doing.

I had thought about digging and sharing? Or should I just let them do their thing since this will be their first full year in the ground...
