Bananas typically don't look their best during winter. Also, don't expect much growth during the winter. I agree with Pitangadiego about bananas not needing fertilizer during the winter. As long as they are showing signs of new growth, they are probably fine. They will probably take off like rockets when the weather warms up and you get them into the ground.
