I really haven't done a whole lot to them. I mulched them pretty heavily with pine bark after I planted them there (moved them from a different part of the yard), but that was 18 months ago at this point. Every few months this growing season I've given them a couple handfuls of 8-2-12 fertilizer (I believe it's palm tree fertilizer) and also have chopped up spent pseudostems and scattered them around as mulch. That's really it though. I didn't water them either except for a couple times in March/April when we had a long dry spell.
I'm not sure that this would align with recommendations of expert banana growers, but just letting them do their thing seems to work pretty well!
