Actually, all of my potted plants are outside now and will be moved into the greenhouse in early October.
I had good luck with potted hedychium coronarium rhizomes bought on Ebay. The plants are enormous now but I am waiting for them to bloom before posting a photo. I suspect that I may be able to treat them like cannas by planting in the ground next year, but there wouldn't be any point if they fail to bloom before first frost.
