I am sorry, I didn't see your prior message. Yes, we did eat the fruits and they did turn slightly yellow while still attached to the p-stem. Since I only had one harvest, I had time to check the fruit daily. I waited until you could feel the largest fruits had soften before cutting them off.
Picture attached... This was a medium sized fruit from my 'harvest' and the taste on these was amazing. To be honest, the fruit tasted so good that I will continue to grow this type even though it is hard to grow and takes 3 years to fruit in Pennsylvania.... The peels were fairly green, the fruit color was orange and had a nice aroma, the taste was sweet and creamy.
Hope you can experience these soon!

Thanks Eric!
Very nice presentation! Looks like Orange Sherbert inside a banana peel. Fingers crossed I will get the same opportunity a bit later this year.
Thanks for providing a great visual and a taste report!
