I used to use a small mesh screen type wire fencing make a circle around the cut off plant at about 4 or 5 feet tall and fill the inside with fresh grass clippings around the stem. Then wrap with plastic, the grass clippings create a heat. I would wrap a few Dwarf Namwah and always had nice fruit in the summer.
