Absolutely,
Even if your plants have grown under lights over the winter they are not ready for the great outdoors
Your tender plants have to harden off to the outdoor weather.
A gradual transition to full sun is highly recommended.

Your tropicals will severely sunburn if not.
I have burnt a few over the years
