Yours looks like a good meter, too, I was limited for choice. It is very near my front door so wouldn't be far to go, and I can see the dial/numbers from my front window. If the dial had snow over it, I would have to go outside, which I would probably do. I didn't insert it into the ground, just laid the sensor by the bottom of one of the banana plants. May take something and make a hole in the dirt so it is more into the dirt. There is a 10' cord. 'C' is the sensor. I think I need to compact the straw more as it didn't seem very tight.[IMG][/IMG]
