Anyone care to identify what is going on with my bananas now? I have an idea but want to get some other's input on this...
Note how the peduncle is black and the fruit isn't filling in, plus how small and dark the bell is... Not to mention what is happening to the leaves...
Note the pup's leaf... Leaves above and below are fine.
Note the disintegration of the leaves...
The one on the right with nearly disintegrated leaves is the one I cut. The brown center started about 3 feet up from the ground, above that it was normal. The new leaf was disintegrating, unlike all others where the older leaves are eaten up like the one in the photo above...

Varieties I supposedly bought: Manzano, Cavendish, Blue Java, Sweetheart, and Gros Michel.
What it seems I actually have: Brazilian, Cavendish, Namwah, Dwarf Red, Gros Michel, Pisang Ceylon, Veinte Cohol and SH 3640, and American Goldfinger. FHIA 1, Paggi and FHIA 17... Always room for one more.
