Default Re: Totally confused on if a type grow from seeds or suckers?

[quote=deja;322367]Guys, i am totally new to banana plants(even my general experience with any plants or seeds) Anyway still wanna grow banana plants. After doing some online researchs i totally confused about which type of plants can be grown from seeds and the ones only can be grown from suckers..?

As i understand 'edible' term is used for the banana plants whose fruits don't have seeds. ( therefore these plants can not be grown from seeds right?) And 'inedible' term is used for opposite way right? After assuming this... How come i come across seeds of edible called type of banana plants being sold online?

For example i ordered seeds for Dwarf Cavendish and also Blue Java from a seller in my country? But both of these fruits are called edible what i read on internet... I am being scammed or what?

The fruit is not inedible as in making you sick,- in·ed·i·ble/ˌadjective - not fit or suitable for eating. It is hard to eat because it is full of the seeds it grew from.
