The parents of Thing Two (the second of the Gros Michel plants from SDarkman) are proud to announce the birth of her (his? its?) babies.

For some bizarre reason they began ripening erratically throughout the bunch this week, so I removed the supports today and let the whole thing slowly lower itself into my arms. Some of the ripe ones on the bottom inevitably got a little squished but given that the bunch formed mid January it seemed a normal 9-month gestation. One of the pups is already 15' high and I expect great things from it.
