The banana tastes amazingly sweet. Wow! I have tasted a namwah and would guess that's what it is. I haven't tasted a saba but I don't think it would be super sweet (although I could be wrong). Of course it didn't occur to me at the time that I should take a picture of the peeled banana...don't know if that would help in identification or not. I did take some measurements of the plant, I don't know if that will help and I will upload a peeled banana tomorrow morning (when I continue with my banana celebration during breakfast). I am happy to say that it looks like I have around 40 plump bananas!

The base of the banana plant has a 2 foot circumference.
