It's my poor little basjoo. My dog likes to go in that corner and bark at my neighbour's dogs. I'll have to move it somewhere else next year unless it manages to get large enough to withstand him lol!

I did get a total of 5 banana plants in that clump (all in one massive pot). It's the mother plant that is about to flower (which has put out another 3 pups since separating). This tall one is one of the original pups and 3 others are planted around in other spots. I rescued it from a local nursery. They had apparently rented them out and came back in bad condition. They had cut it back and the leaves were just starting to come out when i came across them (they were all lonely in a random corner). We inquired about it and ended up purchasing them.
