Thanks, all. I love the idea of tough plants that produce tasty food with minimal effort (my Mexican plum and Jujubee trees are also fantastic in that regard), so I'll probably add a Namwa at some point as well. My 6yo daughter is super excited about the idea of blue bananas in the backyard though, so it's worth the wait and effort to find a real Blue Java.
