Default I need help!

I've got a problem and I'am curious if anyone has had this problem or if no one knows about it.
I'll start from the beginning, my brother sprayed Torden RTU. About a year later I planted three banana plants in there, after sending out a leaf or two the bottom got real big and a pale small green leaf came out, but would not even open, so i thought it probably was the poison, i dug the one up and cut off the leaf that had not opened, soon another small one came up and i cut it off, soon a stronger leaf came out and got big and strong again, about 1/2 year later it gave fruit.
Now about a year later i plant two beautiful plants in there and they took off and looked plain beautiful, then the pups started looking very strange and twisted up, now the big plants look just like the time before, I'll put on pictures of the pup, i would be very glad for anyone who has advice, my Dad thinks it's to much fertilizer, has anyone seen how it looks if they get too much?
And now i cant figure out how to put on a photo. So you'll just have to imagine how it looks, thin leaves that dont open and a bottom that's way to big, as if the plant is still trying to send it up but can't so the bottom explodes
