, the next big thing thats in the works is a localized groups system that members can create and maintain, giving us the ability to create local arms of the Society. We'll also have a friend system where you can buddy up with your friends, something like the big social networking sites allow. These two things will be fantastic for us.

We will also bring in thread tagging and cross referencing abilities, similar to the "similar threads" feature that we currently have on some of the threads, but minus the artificial intelligence. You'll be able to tag a thread like "balbisiana" and effectively link the thread with all the other threads with the same tag.

Good times, this year will be an awesome growing season (so many people have so many new types of bananas!) and a lot of fun.
