Yes that is a aquarium, 29 gallon tall. I also have blueberry plants and grapevines in it. Been dealing with blueberry for many many many moons. But so been wanting to try bananas year after year, just never took the jump until now.
I also have a old 50 gallon that I am going to setup outside and get a few other plants started in them. Old aquarium make some nice terrariums, not to mention great mini greenhouses.
Yippie I have a new leaf that opened up today when I got home from work on the plant on the right side.
Came home an misted them and notice the new leaf had opened...left the tank light off all day while at work. I will run it for a short bit tonight.
Cincinnana: Ferns grow wild all around my property down here in Georgia. I will have to get you some pics of them. Maybe can dig up and send you a few for free. PM me and will send a few pics,
because these are winter hardy too!
Do I prune off the older leaf dying or just let it do its thing?
