Thx for taking interest in this post.
I was in the Smokies for this event and the view was hindered because of the heavy smoke from the wild fires in the Tennesee and Carolina region. The smoke halved the detail of the moon.
However the hot tub was quite comforting.
Another midwest big event........Total solar eclipse in August 2017 .
I will be at Mammoth Cave Kentucky for a few days for that one.
Motel rates went up 3x for the week in the area ...already.
