Default Update on my first attempt at growing - w/ photos

So about 2 months ago I decided to try my hand at growing bananas and jumped right in by purchasing 4 TCs. Not knowing anything about this hobby, I probably should've researched a little more before getting TCs and been better off with some smaller pups grown locally. Live and learn.

So I immediately transplanted my small plants into pots and expected them to start showing signs of growth right away. Of course nothing much happened for a month or so and I've been busy with other things in the yard. We also had some higher than avg temps earlier this month (mid 80s to 90) and now colder than normal. But today between rain showers (finally) I decided to take a peek and see if the plants were even still alive.

To my total shock, each plants has sent out new leaves. I figured they'd decided they weren't gonna grow in my yard but it just goes to show that Mother Nature is amazing and don't ever give up on plants. I know they're not much, but here they are in all they're (tiny) glory.
