Well, ick, just ick. Tonight I made the mistake of stepping outside (in the dark) to grab the French door to close it. Something slimy brushed against my ankle. It was not a worm; it was definitely bigger.
Reminder to self: get that stupid outside light switch fixed. Nightmares tonight I suspect which will include wiggly stuff. Thanks to you I have a visual.
