My 1st attempt at Half Half Smokes--a DC icon. (First time stuffing casings also.) These are quite edible and won't go to waste but not the real deal IMO. Anyone know the recipe?
Pretty please? (Yes, I wrote down everything I added to my winging it effort so these can be duplicated.) And if I keep making these, I'll have to get a new smoker; I can smoke other meats on this baby grill but sausages are terribly unforgiving it seems.
