I'm brand new to banana growing and I need help! The leaves on my musa basjoo are brown on the edges and disintegrating. I just moved it from a pot with potting soil (wrong I know now ) to the ground planted in 1/3 quickrete sand, 1/3 manure, and 1/3 peat moss. The newer leaves are fine. Should I cut off all the brown edged ones? I just Sprinkled Miracle grow around the planting hole. I'm in zone 5 in Ohio.
