Everything sounds ok so far... No growth at all or just kinda slow? As a reference, they usually make a new leaf every week or so. Some are faster than others.
One other thing to consider,while Basjoo is cold hardy,(Down to about ten degrees I think) the dwarf Cavendish, and maybe the others are not very cold hardy.(Say 27-28 is as low as they go) How cold does your winter get?

Varieties I supposedly bought: Manzano, Cavendish, Blue Java, Sweetheart, and Gros Michel.
What it seems I actually have: Brazilian, Cavendish, Namwah, Dwarf Red, Gros Michel, Pisang Ceylon, Veinte Cohol and SH 3640, and American Goldfinger. FHIA 1, Paggi and FHIA 17... Always room for one more.
