There's no short and simple answer to this and different techniques have different percentages. Some techniques will give you thousands of small pups per plant but the percentages have been more greens. I'd say it's best to play around with different techniques and see what you're happiest with.

FYI First generation all green or all white pups from a variegated mother plant can definitely produce variegated pups.
