Default Musa Basjoo Planting

I just received two musa basjoo plants last week. Been in the ground for about 5 days now. They don't seem to be doing anything and the leaves are starting to turn yellow and are beginning to droop. Is this normal? How long does it take for them to take off? Is there anything I need to do? I did use compost and soil mix as well as put some milorganite in it. Please help don't want to kill them. I live in Iowa zone 5
