Default Re: Supposed Ice Cream problems, again.

I tried it all, even a different browser. Sometimes it says it's processing them, sometimes not, but always takes me to the page where I should be able to see them, and they aren't there... Anyway, I was wondering about overfertilizing as the culprit. They (One Sweetheart and one Ice Cream)were supposed to be tissue cultures from Green Earth Publishing and looked real healthy and were forming corms, as the Ice Cream has pups already and a fairly thick stem (About like my thumb) I put one bag of the manure with compost (.5 .5 .5) in a hole 1 foot deep and 3 round, and mixed it up good, (Pure sand here, otherwise) then a bag of the compost with manure (.05 .05 .05) as a mulch. They were bigger than the usual tissue cultures others sell which are only about as thick stemmed as my pinkie finger. Plenty of roots in a 4 inch pot. Did the same with Manzano last year and it went nuts!! It flowered in about 9 months and has several large pups. ... I will keep trying with the pics.

Varieties I supposedly bought: Manzano, Cavendish, Blue Java, Sweetheart, and Gros Michel.
What it seems I actually have: Brazilian, Cavendish, Namwah, Dwarf Red, Gros Michel, Pisang Ceylon, Veinte Cohol and SH 3640, and American Goldfinger. FHIA 1, Paggi and FHIA 17... Always room for one more.
