A lot of bananas can be bought as small TC or Tissue Culture plants off of sites like Ebay, etc. You might try Musa Orinoco like the Tall Orinoco Variety in this link https://subtropicalmemphis.wordpress...oung-district/
I have Tall Orinoco and I am very happy with its toughness. They are root hardy in zone 7b, but I am going to try mine outdoors here in zone 7a with heavy mulching next year.
