I've been able to purchase pineapples from this company only once at Aldi; they were delicious and rooted wonderfully. I like their site because it explains quite a bit and seems, to me, to be very interested in supplying a good product.
Chestnut Hill Farms | Home YMMV but I like their approach to growing product. Sometimes, to make money, you have to inject chemicals into the equation. Judiciously which I believe they do. (Riding by pineapple fields in Costa Rica when I was there in 2008 was the 1st time I realized they do not come from trees!)
BTW, I didn't know that M2 were the result of research funded by growers thus not solely owned by any party it seems.
