Can you post pictures of your papaya plant?


I currently growing Maradol, Solo and Red Lady Papaya plants. Solo and Red Lady Papaya are self-fertile varieties, do not know about Maradol Papaya is self-fertile. Based of my past experience growing Red Lady Papaya, it had maintained the "dwarf" growing status (7 to 9 ft. tall). Maradol Papaya is a new growing variety to me but I tasted the fruit before and it is of excellent flavor.


Maradol Papaya plant grows tall. I got seeds from my neighbor, who is currently growing Maradol Papaya plants. His Maradol Papaya plants are approx. 15-16 ft. tall already. As jbclem mentioned, you can always cut the top off and force the plant to branch and grow low.
