Re: Keeping your thumbs green
My stories are long ago from my youth. I have now moved to FL where, if I take care, I can grow the stuff I want to eat year round so I'm happier than when I cried out against the unfairness of a Halloween frost and screamed that spring should mean planting temperatures instead of a month or more perhaps of snow and such. At my advanced age, some on the Net think I'm 105 but I'm a bit younger, I'm not looking to conquer zones by more than 3 "skips" but settling into living with the creatures that surround my little area and figuring out WTF tomato plants totally croak in July.
