I was under the impression that flowers were only for show on non viable seed producing bananas--the ones you eat without breaking your teeth chowing down. Am I wrong? Common figs are essentially virgins; the "fruit" is inverted flowers. But this is not about the sex life of ficus...

Am I supposed to be playing bee if my DC ever flowers?
