Some of the hybrid offspring have cool traits, I had a Canna omega (First man made Canna hybrid) that is normally orange ish make 10 foot seedlings once with yellow flowers instead, like its shorter parent Canna Glauca. I saw pineapple in Home Depot the other day with fruit on it, I might have to go back and get one just for fun. For me paper towel germination works best on most things I have tried.
