At 9:45 PM Weather.com says it's 81 (feels like 88) with 78% humidity and a breeze of 5.69 MPH. During the day it's blistering in full sun. My scrub pines are very tall and more like telephone poles with Bozo hair on top; they don't shade much. Too much for fruit? Guess I'll see because I am not cutting them down; besides the cost of shedding them (which actually isn't bad) they give me a teensy bit of afternoon shade from a very hot setting sun.
