1. anyone local want pups? before I throw em out?
2. How do I best remove it? it's in a planter surrounded by a concrete patio. I need to cut it down - know how to do that. but I need to kill it before it messes up the patio. How do I do that? I am thinking of digging as much mat out as possible and loading up a bag of charcoal and cooking the rest. Will that work?
I plan to re-layout the yard so I can have a banana tree but not this summer.
It's in Long Beach CA. if you're local you can have as many pups as you want. The tree has fruit now that it nurtured thru the winter so I'm going to wait a couple of weeks to kill it all. your suggestions are appreciated.

If the Plant already has fruit it will not produce fruit again. I would remove all the pups put them in containers and wait until the bananas turn yellow. After that cut the plant down and dig it out.
Plant the pups when you get your yard fixed up.
